Samsung has just launched its new budget smartphone which seems to be interesting and better than other previous Samsung's budget offerings. This smartphone is Samsung galaxy M20. So, let us see where it stands. We will take about its specifications, features and we will try to answer whether we should buy it or not.

Samsung galaxy M20 Cameras

Samsung galaxy M20 has dual cameras setup at rear, primary one is 13MP f/1.9 and secondary shooter is 5MP f/2.2 ultra wide sensor. These cameras shoots some decent pics and has all the basic features like live focus (potrait mode), pro mode, etc. Rear cameras can shoot videos upto 1080p. Talking about its front camera, it is 8MP f/2.0 sensor which also has basic add ons like live focus and others.

M series smartphones are the first offerings from Samsung which has a Notch which is in infinity V water drop style, which surely improves screen to body ratio, ie., above 90%. The display is 6.3 inch FHD+ TFT display protected using Dragon trail glass, it is fairly bright and vibrant. From front side it surely looks modern but at rear side it is like the same plastic build old design. It lags behind Asus zenfone max pro M2 , Redmi note 7 and Realme 2 pro in looks and design from back side. M20 has usual placements of fingerprint scanner at back, sim and micro-sd slot at left and buttons at right side. At bottom, it has type-C port, speaker vents and amicrophone.

It has a huge 5000 mAh battery which is fairly big with respect to the competitions of Honor 8x, Redmi note 6 pro and note 7. In the box, we have a 15W quick charger to charge this impressive battery.

It comes with old android version oreo 8.1, not the latest 9.0 pie having the cover of Samsung's own Experience UI 9.5. This interface looks decent but if it would have new ONE UI then it would be better.

Samsung galaxy Hardware and Performance

It has a new Exynos 7904 SoC from Samsung which seems to be similar to Qualcomm Snapdragon 636. It performs pretty well but shows some amount of lag during huge multi-tasking and while playing PUBG in high settings. This chipset has Mali - G71 GPU. In performance, this phone has really improved from previous budget phones from Samsung.
