Asus Zenfone Max Shot and Asus Zenfone Max Plus M2 Launched with Snapdragon SiP 1 Processor

Taiwan tech giant Asus launched two new phones namely, Asus Zenfone Max Shot and Asus Zenfone Max Plus M2.

SPECIFICATIONS

The main feature of  the phones is that they both comes with new Snapdragon SiP 1 processor. SiP stands for System in Package which has all the components like RAM, ROM, Modem, chipset and audio codec in one package. Use of SiP processors will make the size of the motherboard to be small and left out space can be used for installing bigger battery and other things.

SiP 1 is similar to Snapdragon 450 in terms of performance while both are built over 14nm process.

Now taking about the phones, both Asus Zenfone Max Plus M2 and Asus Zenfone Max Shot has a 6.26 inch FHD+ display and a 4000mAh battery.

Asus Zenfone Max Shot has a triple camera setup in rear side, primary one is 12MP Sony IMX486 sensor, secondary one is 8MP ultra--wide camera and third camera is a 5MP depth sensor. Whereas, Asus Zenfone Max Plus M2 features a dual camera setup, primary one is 12MP and a 5MP depth sensor. Both the phones has a 8MP selfie camera.

Asus Zenfone Max Shot comes in two variants, first one is 3GB RAM + 32GB Storage and other is 4GB RAM + 64GB Storage, while Asus Zenfone Max Plus M2 comes in only one option with 3GB RAM and 32GB Storage.

PRICE and AVAILABILITY

Now, let us know about their pricing. Asus Zenfone Max Shot is priced at BRL 1,349 ( Rs.24,300) for 3GB variant and BRL 1,699 (Rs.30,600) for 4GB variant. Their Indian launch have been not confirmed yet.
