Samsung has unveiled its latest flagship in San Francisco, SAMSUNG GALAXY S10 PLUS.  Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus is a phone in 'S' series line-up. Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus has all the latest and greatest features including an in-display fingerprint scanner, and reverse power share (reverse wireless charging same as found in Huawei mate 20 pro).

Samsung Galaxy S10 plus has usual flagship design with glass on both sides of the phone protected by the use of Gorilla Glass 6. This time Samsung's flagship boasts an Infinity O display, just a fancy name for a hole in the display seen on phones like Honor View 20.

Samsung Galaxy S10 plus offers usual placements of buttons like the power button, volume rocker, Bixby button which can be remapped now. Now, the fingerprint scanner has shifted under the display which is ultrasonic one. In short, I can say Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus has a pretty good design.

Samsung Galaxy S10 plus features a marvellous 6.4-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED display having a resolution of 1440 × 3040 pixels with 19:9 aspect ratio. Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus sports an Infinity O display which has selfie cameras embedded in the top right corner. 

This display provides great viewing angles, vibrant colours and this display is probably the best display till date in a phone. Here, the screen-to-body ratio is 93.4%

Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus is powered by the latest and greatest Snapdragon 855 processor. In some regions ( India, Europe), it has powerful Exynos 9820 processor. Exynos 9820 is built over 8nm process whereas Snapdragon 855 is based on 7nm process.

Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus comes with its own new One UI based on latest Android 9 Pie. This user interface looks better than experience UI. But, I will still prefer stock Android over it. 

SAMSUNG GALAXY S10 PLUS CAMERAS

Samsung Galaxy S10 plus features a triple camera setup in the rear side and dual cameras for selfies. 

The rear camera module includes 16MP ultra-wide lens, 12MP telephoto lens and 12MP regular lens setup. Once again, there is a dual aperture lens on the regular camera which helps in capturing vibrant clicks and pretty good low-light shots. With the ultra-wide camera sensor, you can click amazing wide pictures with the 123-degree field of view. But, these wide shots may have a fish-eye effect which may distort the image quality. Overall, the images come out to have very good details, vibrant colours and good quality. 


Front cameras comprise of 10MP regular lens and an 8MP depth sensor. So, that the selfies can also have good bokeh-effect. The photos from front cameras are good in all aspects but may appear to be soft in low lighting conditions. 

Samsung Galaxy S10 plus can record videos in HDR10+ and 4K at 60fps  and for stabilisation purpose, there is Digital Video Stabilisation on the rear cameras. Probably, this is the first phone to record videos in HDR10+.

SAMSUNG GALAXY S10 PLUS BATTERY

In terms of battery, Samsung Galaxy S10 packs a massive 4100mAh non-removable battery, which is supposed to charge at a fast rate using the Adaptive fast charger included in the box. 

This battery is enough to carry out your daily tasks with medium usage pattern. Yes, there is a feature reverse power share (reverse charging) which can charge other devices.

Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus comes with two RAM options, 8GB and 12GB  and the 128GB, 512GB, and 1TB as storage options which results in three variants of the same.
